HP-Compaq has emerged as the biggest player in the computer market after the merger of HP and Compaq, the printing specialist meets the computing specialist, the most deadly combination. The best part about HP is its availability in Indian Market, best quality of products and most competitive prices in the market. HP-Compaq has products for each segment of users, whether Home users, Small Office Home Office, or Corporate Users, you name it they have it. The products come with different variants, take example of desktop PC, you can decide the configuration you want, you'll get it within your budget. From High End Servers to any thing suiting to your comuting needs, Work Stations, Desktops, printers, scanners, CD ROMs, DVD, everything. I'm working with Indian Oiltanking and handling the systems department, and doing all the EDP purchases in my organisation, today 95% of the systems in my office are HP-Compaq. It is only because of the quality offered, timely response to enquiry calls, competitive prices, and above all after sales services. Its the after sales services only which has kept us going back to HP-Compaq again over these years. We tried other brands as well, but support services failed to perform. Any part failure will be immediately attended to and rectified as soon as possible.
Only area where there is a slight issue, SPARES. One the system is out of warranty, then the spares cost goes up tremendously.
I would recommend to go for HP-Compaq based on the experiences i have till now, been handling the EDP purchases for the last 6 years in my organisation.
