Bajaj Pulsar DTSi has been a revolution in biking ever since it was introduced in 2003. I have owned a Yamaha RX100 for few years before I bought this one and I do not need to stress on this point that Yamaha RX 100 would still be a favorite amongst bike lovers due to its pickup and bland looks.
What made me change to Pulsar DTSi was the mileage I was getting and the bike itself was getting old. So I decided to sell of my Yamaha and started looking at options available in the market. After doing a lot of research (Includes test rides of LML, Hero Honda, Kinetic, TVS, Suzuki bikes) on engine capacity, mileage, looks, after sales service I zeroed in on Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi, and believe me I have not had a single thought against it till now.
It was like my childhood dream come true. No other bike can come close to the performance this mean machine gives. Dashing and stylish looks, good mileage, good pickup… what else do you want???
Let me just summarize the pros for you:
* Dragon headlight which makes it stand out in the crowd. I just love it.
* Very ergonomic and stylish fuel tank design.
* Twin spark plug which I understand is the reason for such good mileage.
* Disc brakes offers excellent control over the bike, just in case you need to apply brakes otherwise the seat is so comfortable to ride that you can ride it whole day long.
If you are looking for a stylish bike with a good mileage, there’s no other bike like this in Indian Biking at this time.
| The good | Excellent Pickup, Mileage |
| The bad | Paint quality, very prone to scratches Price, on the higher side. |
| Value for Money | Too Good |
