**** A different movie ****
Aitraaz marks a turning point in Hindi Cinema. With this movie, heroines in hindi movie are entering a new era where the old inhibitions are shed and even where the script demands role of a vamp, heroines are willing to step into the shoes of a vamp. Though, technically, Julie started it , Aitraaz and Fida are the first successful movie of the genre. As one English Author, once pointed out, watching a movie is basically a suspension of disbelief, the same is truly applicable to this movie. Don't ask basic questions about too many coincidences and suspend your disbelief, you are very likely to enjoy the movie.
On the story part, it is a different story as generally narrated in a Hindi Movie. Script is also good. Especially good part is the justice done to the dialogues written for both the advocates fighting for a case and winning of case for one advocate was not just due to poor performance of another advocate. Music could have been better, but the same is compensated by excellent locales.
Cudos to Priyanka, you dared to act in a shade of negative role at rather stage of your career, you did full justice to your role. Kareena, Akshay are excellent as usual. Paresh Rawal as Advocateââ¬Â¦. Simply superb. However, ending of the movie could have been better.
