Though Abhishek started of well but looking at his films we can see a gradual increase of this stature in the Indian film industry.
Humble Beginning
His debut movies directed by JP Dutta which also starred another newcomer Kareena Kapoor. This movie did more for Kereena that it did for Abhishek. Abhishek did not show huge promise at this stage and his role was of a conventional hero and did not offer something special.
After that he did few other films such as Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Dhai Akshar Prem Ka and Bus Itna Sa Khwab. As far as the acting is concerned in these, Abhishekâs magic didnât worked out here, and here he needed a hit film very badly.
Then came his first hit film Main Bhi Prem ki Deewani Hoon but again, it slammed on the face of Abhishek as critics slaughtered the movie very badly and thereby it didnât clicked at the box office. Then Again Abhishek trying to stable his professional life did some more film such as Om Jai Jagdish, Mumbai se Aaya Mera Dost, Zameen and LoC, all these movies didnât clicked at the box office but one thing is there the work of Abhishek Bachchan was being recognized.
The real recognition started with the Movie Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar and Dus. All these movies have been huge hit and here I would like mention that the performance of Abhishek was excellent and definitely he had made a mark on the Indian silver screen.
Abhishek Bachchan has proved himself time and time again, and has delivered exceptional performance. This is only the tip of the iceberg as it can be assured that he has many shades that are yet to be unfolded.
